Applied Brewing Solutions

Applied Brewing Solutions is a brewing and distilling consultancy based in Lagos, Nigeria, led by Oladapo Loto and working with breweries, distilleries and beverage brands across West Africa. We built its website and set up the search, analytics and business listings that help new clients find it and get in touch.

Client names and results are shared once each client approves public use.

The challenge

Applied Brewing Solutions won its work through referrals and face-to-face relationships built over Oladapo Loto’s career. That brought in good clients. But a brewery or distillery owner who hadn’t already heard of him had no way to find the consultancy, check what it had delivered, or reach out. There was also no way to tell which contacts led to new work. The consultancy needed an online presence that matched its experience. It had to show up when owners in the region searched for help, show real projects and not just claims, make it easy to start a conversation, and track where each enquiry came from. Oladapo also needed to keep it up to date himself.

What we did

We designed and built a content-managed website around Applied Brewing Solutions’ consulting practice. It answers the questions a prospective client asks: what the consultancy does, what it has delivered, and how to get in touch. Around the site we set up Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, a Google Business Profile and a LinkedIn company page, so the consultancy can be found and every visit and enquiry can be measured. The site combines a services catalogue, a project portfolio with galleries and full case-study pages, an Insights section for articles, and an enquiry flow that reaches Oladapo by email and WhatsApp, with every lead tagged by where it came from.

From word of mouth to found online.

A simpler way for new clients to find the consultancy

The website, search listings and analytics now connect how a prospect finds the consultancy with how their enquiry reaches Oladapo.

  1. A prospect hears about the consultancy from a contact
A prospect finds the consultancy on Google
  2. They ask around for a phone number
They get in touch by form or WhatsApp in one tap
  3. They can’t see past projects before calling
They review projects and case studies first
  4. The first conversation starts from scratch
The enquiry arrives with the service they need
  5. Nobody knows which contacts bring in work
Every lead’s source shows up in analytics

New work depended on who already knew Oladapo.

Anyone searching for brewing or distilling help in the region can now find, check and contact the consultancy.

What we built

  • Editable site content. Oladapo updates services, projects, his bio, headline figures and articles from one editor, with no developer needed.

  • Project portfolio & case studies. Each project shows the client, location and scope, with a photo and video gallery. Any project can become a full case-study page with key outcomes.

  • Enquiry form. Enquiries go straight to Oladapo’s inbox, and the sender gets an automatic confirmation. The service they clicked on is already selected, and spam submissions are filtered out.

  • WhatsApp contact. One-tap WhatsApp buttons across the site open a chat with a pre-written message, since that is how many clients in the region prefer to get in touch.

  • Lead source tracking. Every enquiry records where the visitor came from (a campaign, a referring site or a direct visit). It appears in the notification email and is reported to Google Analytics, next to Vercel’s visitor analytics.

  • Insights section. A place for articles on brewing, distilling and the regional market, starting with guides on setting up a brewery in Nigeria and producing ethanol from cassava or molasses.

  • Search & local presence. Every page has its own title and description, plus a sitemap and structured business data. The site is verified in Google Search Console, and the consultancy has a Google Business Profile and a LinkedIn company page.

  • Business email. Team email on Applied Brewing Solutions’s own domain, set up alongside the new system so staff and customers see one consistent brand.

In their words
“The website has brought in calls and new projects from people who had never heard of us before. I'm not into the technical side, but the results speak for themselves.”
